What this is: Insights on AI is a practitioner's perspective on the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning(AI/ML) and its role in the Fourth Industrial Revolution that is set to disrupt industries and transform our lives.

Who I am: My name is Manoj Bapat and I have been involved in this field since 2015, when I started my AI career at IBM Watson. The AI products that I have built have been launched to millions of users.

What informs my thinking: I have diverse experiences as an engineer, management consultant and product manager across semiconductors, software, financial services and healthcare and my work includes both B2B and B2C products.

What you can expect here: A wide ranging discussion on AI topics from the specific (e.g. NLP algorithms for recommender systems) to broad (e.g. Global AI policy implications), all with a practitioner's perspective.
